Immigrantly, a 2023 Next Challenge Finalist, Secures Seed Investment from Glen Nelson Center

With over 45+ million immigrants in the United States, it’s important to present authentic and diverse stories that go beyond stereotypes and provide a platform for a more nuanced understanding of the immigrant experience.  

This describes the mission of Immigrantly Media, a finalist in the 2023 Next Challenge competition and one of Glen Nelson Center’s recent Horizon Fund investments. Immigrantly Media is a forward-thinking media startup that aims to explore America, the immigrant experience, and unique perspectives through immersive storytelling.  

"Saadia Khan has created a production company that's needed for our time,” said Joanne Griffith, chief content officer at APM Studios. “The immigrant experience is the story of America, and it's exciting to see how Immigrantly explores connections across news, sports, generations and true crime."

Immigrantly Media is using the Horizon Fund investment to expand its slate of podcasts, all with the mission to amplify honest perspectives of immigrants in America. Their new content will include podcasts about sports, children’s issues, food, and the immigrant experience in battleground states during a divisive election year.  

Immigrantly Media remains steadfast in its dedication to fostering empathy, breaking down stereotypes and contributing to a more inclusive narrative surrounding immigrant identities.
